We are a voluntary National Governing Body with the sole purpose of promoting and developing Pickleball across Wales and in collaboration with other appropriate bodies in England, Scotland and Ireland promote the sport of pickleball throughout the UK.
Anglesey Pickleball
Kath Knowles is a change agent. She loves pickleball so much she made it her mission to spread it to Anglesey, North Wales and there are now sessions every day of the week across 5 indoor and one outdoor venue. Her story is a powerful one and this video shares it succinctly. Kath is always saying how grateful she is to Elaine Shallcross for helping her in her mission along with her trusty helpers but there has to be a catalyst and in that area it is Kath Knowles supported by her rock David.
Another first, is that it was Sport Wales that posted this video. That must be a giant step in the process to recognise the sport.
