Two League formats for the SE Region

We have a Club League format and an Individual Player League format in the region, with several within region versions.  The newest to be introduced is the South East North Pickleball League for the 2025/26 Season.

Each of the Regional Pickleball Leagues are playing to win their own respective league but also to win a place in the end of season England Pickleball League Final.  More details to be added as soon as they are finalised.

The England Pickleball League started in the South East with the South East Pickleball League.  Created in 2022 by then Regional Director Sue Harris, Andre Strachan and David Bungard, it was hugely popular right from the start with 26 teams entered.

In 2023, Andre took the lead and was joined by Louise Stephens.

For the 2024/2025 Season, Louise has stepped down and  Andre has been joined by Sue Smith & Claire Bourgoin as League Directors.

The season kicks off on Sunday 14th September with 8 divisions of 4 teams.

What is new this year is that the Pickleball League capability that KESPL used last year on PETS is now on PickleBook.  You can follow all the results here.

in 2024, the demand for the SEPL was too high, so Vanessa Hannam and Chris Whincup volunteered to create a Kent & East Sussex version (KESPL).  This was also a great success and the league will kick off for the 2025/26 Season in October.

Given the success of SEPL and KESPL, the clubs north of the Thames wanted their own league so for the 2025/26 season there will be a South East North Pickleball League (SENPL). It is anticipated that the league will also leverage PickleBook and a link will be added here.

The Pickleball Leagues above are for Clubs to enter teams.  Individual players get selected by their club to represent them in a team in the league.  For individuals that are not part of a club or a league, we also have the original league in the South East – South East Doubles League which started in 2019.
