Christina Barham - Suffolk
Level 1 Qualified
I currently cover Suffolk area. I am a coach for David Lloyd at Bury St Edmunds, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, as well as running my own club for all abilities, Suffolk Punch Pickleball in Ipswich. Currently on Friday evenings at 7:30 to 9:30pm
Jason Gordon - South Suffolk
Level 1 Qualified
I’m based in Colchester, and hold a Pickleball England Level 1 qualification. I currently run and coach at my home club, South Suffolk Pickleball, where I work with players of all skill levels.
I believe that pickleball has something for everyone and with the right support, guidance, and a little bit of fun along the way we can all achieve what we want from the sport. Whether you’re brand new to pickleball or looking to further your skills, I offer both one-to-one coaching or group sessions tailored to your goals. My sessions can focus on essential drills and skills, strategic play, or building a stronger understanding of the game – whatever helps you feel more confident and comfortable on the court.
I am based in Colchester but happy to travel to surrounding areas, I always strive to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where players can learn at their own pace. I am committed to helping each person enjoy the sport, improve steadily, and have a great time while doing it.

Alex Mann - Suffolk
Level 1 Qualified
I’m a passionate and enthusiastic pickleball coach based in Suffolk.
I’ve been playing pickleball for over four years and recently won a gold medal at the 2024/25 English Nationals Singles Tournament held at Loughborough University.
I’m also an avid tennis player and an LTA Accredited tennis coach with over 6 years coaching experience.
I’m now offering friendly group and individual pickleball sessions for players of all ages and abilities.
Whether it’s introducing beginners to the sport or coaching players at the 4.0 level, my patient and supportive approach ensures all sessions are fun, engaging and inclusive.
Jo Miller - Suffolk
Level 1 Qualified
I am a passionate pickleball enthusiast with over two years of playing experience. Throughout this time, I have developed a keen understanding of the game and am eager to share that knowledge with others.
With a background in junior hockey coaching and a strong commitment to fun, I can bring an energetic and supportive approach to helping players improve their skills.
I am able to coach beginners and lower intermediates, and happy to travel (within reason)!
IPTPA
Pickleball England also recognise the INTERNATIONAL PICKLEBALL TEACHING PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION (IPTPA) qualification. As acknowledged in the Club Instructor workbook some of the concepts in our curriculum are based on IPTPA.
PickleballEngland provides the coaching insurance for IPTPA Coaches listed on the IPTPA website (click button below). Since this is a dynamic list, we can’t list everyone on this page. We also don’t have visibility for which coaches have all the above evidence.
