The SE Singles League meets at Maidstone YMCA on the 2nd Saturday of the month (unless there is a major tournament, when it will be moved).
The idea of the Singles League is to give players an opportunity to practise their singles game and to improve their skills in a competitive environment. Often it isn’t possible to have singles play in club sessions due to the number of people waiting for games. Of course singles is also an excellent work out to get in shape!
Our next session is Saturday 8th June.
There is a Ladies and Mens rolling 12 month league with a winner of the night and rolling league standings. At the end of the year, we will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals.
To participate in the league you must be a Pickleballengland registered member and able to commit to play ~6 times. If you would like to sign up, please email info@pickleballengland.org
Another great evening of singles giving some players some useful pre-Scotland practise.
The ladies played their 100th match on the night and there was a tie between three players on the night. Elaine Brown won on points difference but well done to Sue and Emma too!
On the men’s side, Louis didn’t drop a game making him the overall winner for the night. Special shout out to Paul who came third this month, proving that playing in the league has improved his singles game!
