Welcome to our page of qualified Pickleball Coaches in the Lincolnshire area. Whether you are new to the game or looking to improve your skill, you can rest assured that all coaches listed here are covered by the PickleballENGLAND guarantee.

This means they have all:

  • Passed Workshop Assessment
  • Passed the Rules & Workbook Exam
  • Passed the written reflections assignment
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Passed Safeguarding in Sport Training
  • Passed First Aid Training

Level 1 Coaches

Richard Cozens - Boston, Lincolnshire
Level 1 Qualified

I have qualified with the leaders certificate, and I am also a qualified Level 1 pickleball instructor based at Boston, Lincolnshire.

I am a passionate pickleball player, and have helped establish Pickleball at Boston Tennis Club, with a great team of people to spread the word of pickleball.

Membership of our club offers access to several sessions a week, as well as the opportunity to get involved with a fantastic group of people.

The aim is to promote pickleball here at Boston Tennis Club, meet new people, and progress all the players who want to take part in tournaments and competitions.

This year alone, I have hosted several DUPR tournaments and Matchplay sessions, and members of our club operate several internal leagues for you to get involved in.

Penny Daniel - Grimsby
Level 1 Qualified

Qualified IPTPA, Leaders, PEng 1 and Level 3 Tennis Coach and County player.
In April 2023 I founded Grimsby Pickleball and since then the group has grown, introducing Pickleball to as many people as possible is a passion and I love bringing people together.

I have played in various tournaments and ability levels in the U.K. and medalled including the English
Open where I won a Gold and Silver as have other members of Grimsby Pickleball.

We are a friendly, fun, welcoming group and enjoy seeing people’s ability and confidence grow so
whether you want to play for fun, socially, competitively please feel free to get in touch for playing
opportunities and/or coaching.

Chris Enock - Grantham, Lincolnshire
Level 1 Qualified

Based in Lincolnshire. I am a Level 2 LTA Tennis Coach and Level 1 Pickleball Instructor. I coach at
Grantham Tennis Club and Gym, offering an open play group session on Saturdays 15:30-17:00. 

Perfect for those who are new to the sport, this class provides a supportive and engaging environment to learn the fundamentals of pickleball.

My ultimate aim is to promote the growth and development of pickleball across Nottinghamshire, encouraging the formation of clubs and friendly social matches with other clubs throughout the county.

IPTPA

Pickleball England also recognise the INTERNATIONAL PICKLEBALL TEACHING PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION (IPTPA) qualification.  As acknowledged in the Club Instructor workbook some of the concepts in our curriculum are based on IPTPA.

PickleballEngland provides the coaching insurance for IPTPA Coaches listed on the IPTPA website (click button below).  Since this is a dynamic list, we can’t list everyone on this page. We also don’t have visibility for which coaches have all the above evidence.
