Neil Freeman - Devon
Level 1 Qualified
Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or aiming to improve, I create a supportive environment for learning. My coaching targets beginners and early intermediates, guiding newcomers to start strong and helping improvers build skills and confidence.
With over 20 years as a committed marathon runner, I bring focus, stamina, and a love of sport to my pickleball coaching. I was looking for a sport that would improve my movement and all-round agility, rather than being one-dimensional, and pickleball offered the perfect blend of challenge, variety, and community.
I’m available to coach across Devon in village halls, schools, and community venues, and I’m always keen to support new clubs and events as pickleball continues to grow.

Feel free to drop me a line or give me a call to discuss your specific needs.
IPTPA
Pickleball England also recognise the INTERNATIONAL PICKLEBALL TEACHING PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION (IPTPA) qualification. As acknowledged in the Club Instructor workbook some of the concepts in our curriculum are based on IPTPA.
PickleballEngland provides the coaching insurance for IPTPA Coaches listed on the IPTPA website (click button below). Since this is a dynamic list, we can’t list everyone on this page. We also don’t have visibility for which coaches have all the above evidence.
Other Qualifications
If you have another pickleball qualification (including IPTPA) and want to be listed on this page, we do require that you meet the guarantee on the top of the page. We have a low cost conversion option to be recognised by PbE. Email coaching@pickleballengland.org for more information.
